FIGHTING LOVE

Fighting Love

 

Each morning when I awake and see the beauty lying next to me,
gives account to another day worth fighting for;

 

Knowing that God has favored me with this Eve,
evidenced that there is such thing as grace for men like me;

 

Each day I desire to pursue her as the first day we met,
to delight in her more than myself and the world;

Knowing tomorrow may never come,
Indeed, what I do know, is the fight inside me for this Eve.
