A Life's Walk With Cancer evolved from being an centralized source of information for family, friends and loved-ones to journaling how my experiences and challenges with Stage IV melanoma cancer could possibly serve as a resource for other cancer patients, caregivers, and survivors. My prayerful hope is to show other cancer fighters how my battle against cancer can be used as an adequate example and inspiration for them.
Please keep in mind that I am not a medical professional, such as an oncologist or cancer researcher. But I'm just a cancer patient who struggles daily with either the physical discomforts associated with the treatment or the emotional and mental toil brought about from having cancer. And despite the fact that I have to live with Stage IV melanoma cancer for the rest of my life, I will always strive to find God’s peace, power, and presence in cancer. Although cancer may indeed take my life, I have found a renewed purpose and meaning in cancer. So, in the end, I've defined how my last story will be.
