MY HEROES

While most people in our country are calling healthcare frontline workers “Heroes,” I did not need a global pandemic to make me realize how important these men and women are in America’s healthcare system. Through God’s grace and mercy, these heroes have been keeping me alive for nearly eight years, with their medical expertise, healing skills, and compassionate concern for those who are fighting cancer. And despite the recent PET/CT (10/23/2020) indicating that the cancerous tumor is still active, I owe my current robust health and energy to these men and women at Inova Schar Cancer Institute.
