WE'RE MOVIN' ON UP!

Inova Schar Cancer Institute is a state-of-the-art cancer center in the Washington, DC metro area designed to bring healing and hope to every patient.

Greetings!

Some of you may remember “The Jeffersons,” an American sitcom that was aired from 1975 to 1985. When I think of George Jefferson, my mind automatically hears the show’s theme song:

“Well we're movin' on up (movin on up)

“To the east side (movin on up)

“To a deluxe apartment in the sky.

“Movin' on up (movin on up)

“To the east side (movin on up)

“We finally got a piece of the pie.”

As for me, I am “movin’ on up” myself to Inova Schar Cancer Institute’s new $150 million state-of-the-art cancer center.

I will have access to new comprehensive, patient-centric care under one roof, along with some other patient amenities (e.g., a spa that allows patients and their caregivers to get manicures, pedicures and messages while at their appointments). Now, this is truly a club med!

The new address for my volunteers and guests:

Inova Schar Cancer Institute

8081 Innovation Park Drive (formerly 3225 Gallows Road. Use this address for GPS).

Fairfax, VA 22031

Looking forward to spending time with you at my new digs!
