A LEGACY FASTENED IN MY HEART AND MIND, FOREVERMORE
DEATH CANNOT ERASE YOUR LEGACY

THE FIGHT CONTINUES

Neck
This is not the actual size of my increased lymph node, but it gives a good depiction of where it's located. I'm scheduled for surgery June 10th.

As most folks know, I completed cancer treatment in January. Overall, my transition and recovery has been going well. I’m working full-time in the office, gaining strength back in the gym, and eating healthy to give my immune system an extra lift to fight off any potential emerging cancer cells.

And while the recovery is going well, my oncologist and medical team is taking an aggressive approach with me to prevent a recurrence. The last PET scan in March revealed that a lymph node in my neck increased in size compared to a previous PET scan. I underwent two biopsies, both of which revealed inconclusive results. So, based on my recent history with this type of cancer, they plan to surgically remove the large lymph node, and possibly adjoining ones, to prevent another recurrence.
