I AM THANKFUL FOR MY RENEWED FAITH IN MY COMFORTER (Part 2)
Thursday, October 30, 2014
"I can endure all these things through the power of the one who gives me strength." ( Philippians 4:13)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems like ages since descending down into the valley, traversing through darken hollows and dells. But with great joy I finally see the ridge line, crowned with majestic clouds pierced by the crepuscular rays of the sun.
I am blessed with renewed strength; embolden to continue on as Paul did to fight "the good fight," to "finish the race" and "keep the faith" (2 Timothy 4:7).
Along the ridge line, atop the precipice I see each of you praying continuously and cheering me on to "finish the race", encouraging my soul with words of exhortation.
Though I am near the end of this difficult passage, I must always remember the source of my strength. For not only of you - my wife...my family...my friends - I must boast of Him, my strength and my comforter. Through my infirmities, weaknesses and sufferings, I sincerely pray you saw Him, walking beside me, and at times carrying me. This is where my faith comes from.
