POST-SURGERY THUMPS UP
BONDED KINSHIP THROUGH CANCER

STILL SERVING, BUT WEAK

Yesterday evening I gave one of my career workshops at Career Network Ministry, a community program that provides ministry and support to anyone in a work-life transition. I tremendously enjoyed giving the workshop, but it became physically and mentally exhausting due to the cancer treatment.

According to my oncologist, I have six months left to take subcutaneous injections of Interferon, the last phase of my cancer treatment. And along with the treatment the side effects are expected to continue, ergo, get worse in the ensuing months. I'm not complaining, but it is very difficult to give up many enjoyable things in life, such as my career workshops. But, I will remain steadfast and remain committed to the treatment.

Hopefully, when this is all behind me, I will be back to living life to the fullest.
