It has been just about a week and a half since my surgery. And the hardest part of the surgical post-op is waiting to recover and to heal so that I can begin chemo/immunotherapy treatment.

For someone like me the 'waiting' is definitely the hard part. There is only so much television and Netflix that someone like me can take. And I would very much like to read, but the drugs tend to hinder my cognitive and conceptual mental ability.

In my opinion, these are the times when life obligates you to rest and heal, and possibly find meaning in this situation. But for now, I will continue to rest, pray and hope for a speedy recovery. Because someone like me needs to get back into the game of life and work.
